NA Hatcher Tier List
The NA tier list was generated based on the available monsters and there effectiveness in the current NA meta game. Although a monster with a lower rating may be in a higher tier than a monster with a higher rating, they are in their resepective tier becuase they are more useful for the event dungeons. We try to be as objective/unbiased as possible in these ratings.
Note: Order of monsters do not matter

Great versatility due to her excellent skill set. Barrier mitigates damage taken and energy circle has great damage coverage. She also has the highest damage ratio command SS in the game. Lucy is arguably one of the best monsters in the game
Two nulls and no gauge make Arthur incredibly easy to use. Her bump-combo is a combination of a powerful Lock-on XL and a wide Cross-Laser L; it covers so much that positioning is an afterthought. Her focus-pulse SS is also very wide. Unless laser-barriers and mines litter the stage, Arthur can steamroll through most quests effortlessly.
Himiko has the higest HP of all Fire monsters, a high SPD, an NDW on gauge, and is an active Wood slayer (which applies to her XL bump-combo). All from a simple evolution. To top it off, her SS is a chain-meteor. This makes her very suited to any Wood quest without mines and laser shields.
One of the best all-around Fire cards in the game: the Transcend boasts two berry slots, two great bumps (homing piercer + blast), Minesweeper XL, NGB, and a quick-charge crazy knock-up SS. If there are mines in the quest, she gets 3x ATK, which will offset elemental disadvantage.
Already one of the fastest monsters in the game, after picking up mines, Shiro will have the highest ATK of any Water monster (save for other water minesweepers). Easily evolved, with a strong R-laser bump and NGB, her SS can deal massive damage passing through an enemy, exploding across multiple hit-zones, and activating bump-combos.
With a Lock-on XL + Slice-n-Dice bump, you don't have to worry about positioning as much. He is the fastest water monster in the game (and with two berry slots, can get even faster) and has one of the highest ATK and HP among all 400+ SPD monsters. With NDW, he is a safe pick vs Ashura and their SPD-down attack.
Incredible stats (one of the highest HP in the game) and NDW give Godstriker much more to work with than just Flight. SS continues to be powerful, 8-Laser L + Energy-circle covers a large portion of each stage, and Counter Slayer on-gauge can raise ATK to almost Ashura levels..
Though of average ATK and HP, that SPD-up/Blast bump is too useful to ignore; it boosts allies' offense and sets off their own bump-combos. Tempest herself has a top-20 SPD among Lights, which helps her reach multiple targets and achieve maximum damage on her chain-meteor SS.
Ryoma's stats are all above-average and being a pierce-sling, you can easily aim him away from warps and directly at hearts or teammates; this works very well with his powerful Command SS. The Slayer-on-a-gauge makes Ryoma one of the strongest Fire mons in the game and a worthy choice for most Wood quests.
What makes Wukong special is that SPD-up/Blast bump; it increases your offense two ways! Adding his above-average stats (his HP can be considered "high" due to Wood Resistance), protection from damage-walls, and Command SS, Wukong is a good shot of offense for any team even outside of Wood quests.
Hunter King Transcend still has NGB and the ultra-strong OWL XL bump-combo, but now also has a poison-spread (vs scorpions). Though of above-average SPD and ATK compared to other wall-rebound SS users, the Lv.2 SS gets much stronger, much faster. You can now add 2 berries.
A powerful Flight/NW monster with high stats (one of the highest HPs in the game), Royce also serves a hard-counter against most quests with Etherean bosses. His bump-combos are super-strong, but his strikeshot isn't.
With her Slayer M abilities, Agnamut's ATK is close to 80k. With a 2nd-gear, she has one of the strongest Meteor strikeshots. Plus her pierce-sling and high SPD (the 2nd highest of any Power-bias) makes it easy to hit lots of enemies with it. As a bonus, she has NDW and a Volatile Blast/Homing-18 bump-combo.
The ascended version of Himiko has the rare Recovery ability; with her NGB and pierce-sling, she can easily target teammates. She also has an uncommon poison bump-combo, which is incredibly useful against Scorpion mobs. Her leadership SS charges faster than usual (24 vs 26). Himiko has particularly high ATK for a pierce-sling.
Sinbad isn't just a bounce-sling with NGB and a SPD-up bump-combo, he has one of the highest ATKs for a water-element and has a powerful leadership strikeshot too. Their HP and SPD are also considered high, making them a great fit in several Impossible quests.
Good HP and SPD, but a top-15 ATK for a Water-element and the always-helpful blast bump-combo make Nobunaga X an overall strong choice. Her motivational strikeshot can do massive damage without needing to contact teammates.
Easy to evolve, Tempest has a monstrous ATK if you factor her on-gauge Slayer. She also has a Lightning bump that can paralyze enemies, NGB, and an easy-to-aim pierce-sling; all syngerizing with a Leadership SS.
Light Resist protects Daji; she'll only take added-damage from Slayers. She has NGB + NW, slightly above-average HP & SPD (for a pierce-sling), and 2 killer bump-combos -- only laser-barrier obstructors stop both. Her poison-puff SS, while short-ranged, guarantees big damage over 3 turns.
Saigo has high HP and, with a gauge and Light Slayer, one of the highest ATK in the game (47k; the highest among Dark monsters so-far) -- only minesweepers get more powerful. Even though he has low SPD (and slows down faster being a Power-type), Saigo has NGB and his wall-rebound SS can destroy Light bosses.
Being a neutral element, with NGB + NW, and all-around above-average stats, Liu Bei's kit offers great versatility; it may not make him the perfect choice, but it lets him be a major contributor in a wide range of quests. His two bump-combos rack up plenty of hits and his leadership SS can do big damage.
A piercing Recovery unit that easily reaches teammates and stays protected with Flight + NDW. High stats and a powerful Slice-n-Dice bump-combo keep her viable for a myriad of quests.
One of the best monsters for beginners, Uri is easy to upgrade (evolve), is a neutral element, has NDW with NGB on-gauge, and is a pierce-sling which makes hitting teammates with her faster-charging leadership SS very easy. Uri can be taken to several quests due to this versatility, but her biggest drawback is that her stats are only middling for a pierce-sling.
The game's 2nd Light-slayer (after Saigo); being a Speed-type, Yoshitsune works differently. Shana-oh is an NDW, their Lightning has a chance to paralyze, and his piercing SS can run through the enemy weakspot repeatedly for big damage.
Apollo X packs a punch with above-average ATK and SPD; her main bump-combo (Lock-on Laser XL) provides more easy-to-aim destruction. Her quick-to-charge (16 turns) tackle-n-laser SS does a lot of damage and can be used to stick to someone and avoid damage-walls. Apollo X also is a rare Galaxite-class; there are no Galaxite-slayers in-game.
Napoleon is not as unique with the influx of so many NGB water monsters, but she is still quite powerful. Pierce-sling and no-gauge NGB/slayer makes her easy to aim, especially when tagging teammates for her leadership SS. She provides good support with her blast bump.
SST Tinker is a top-15 among Light monsters in HP and ATK, and can do more vs Dark monsters with her gauge-ability (51.5k per hit). Her SPD isn't great (and slows faster being a Power-type), but Ai has NGB and an unstoppable energy-circle; her wall-rebound SS can destroy Dark bosses.
CúChulainn's stats are one of the highest for a pierce-sling monster with NGB, she is an uncommon Paladin-class, plus she has an effective bump-combo. And her SS not only protects her from most hazards, it significantly raises her offense.
A rare combination of NW + MS, Benkei also has a strong close-range spread bump-combo. His SS can deal massive damage if positioned well.
A strong pick for Tower's 23F thanks to her active Deity Slayer M (it applies to her bump-combo), Oda is also a good pick for other NDW-quests thanks to her powerful leadership SS, especially if the boss is a Deity class.
Though not as acclaimed as his ascend-form, with two great nulls (NDW+NW), an even higher ATK (a top-25 among Water monsters), a supporting blast-bump, and the ever-deadly wall-rebound SS, Sinbad-evo is easier to get and use.
Daji is a NW + MineSweeper, and for a dual-ability Minesweeper, she has pretty high stats; her Light Resist further protects her by turning her into a true neutral element. Daji's bump might lull enemies to sleep while her SS can do massive damage as well as activate allies bump-combos.
Flight + NGB gives Romeo two nulls, his Chain-meteor can do ridiculous damage is crowded rooms, but his best attribute is that he is a Blast-type with high stats. His bump-combo gets a boost all while his stats remain high-tier among Water monsters.
